Let’s be real…
Tonight, I hit a new low. I asked people how I come across on Twitter. When you read my stuff…what’cha’ll think. This didn’t help much, honestly.
I recently got into with with a friend of mine. He said that he has no clue how I’m trying to say things through text. He says that I’m this really awesome, goofy person…in person, but when I text, I seem serious. I guess people add “Haha” “jk” and “lol” to lighten whatever they’re saying. I guess it makes sense to the extent that you’re generally trying to be funny and make a joke, but it kind of destroys the point of even saying anything if you put these things. This may be just my opinion, though. I generally don’t take very many people seriously (ever) if all they say is “lol jk :)” with every tweet. And I feel that it’s necessary to be taken seriously whenever you are actually trying to be serious.
It’s true, though. I do have some pretty dry humor, and not a lot of people get some of my jokes, and I don’t really expect anyone to. I did have one person say that it’s clearly obvious when I’m being sarcastic or facetious, and that is my kind of person. She is on my level! Haha.
Anyway, I just wanted to get that out there. If you think I’m overly serious, or I’m not funny enough for you, you can just not follow me. On Twitter or here. I won’t take it offensively. Just leave. Hahahahahaha (See? Did I really mean I wouldn’t take it offensively? I did put “Hahahahahaha” there.)
